Forma Nails Donatella Nails

Hello Lovlies!! How have you all been? Hope you have been well and you have been safe. I hope all is well with your RL. My RL got a bit crazy so I am a bit behind on my posting lol! Sometimes, you just got to love RL right?

Anyway, today we are going to discuss Forma Nails once more. This set is interesting in the fact that well, it is an innuendo if I have ever seen one. It is one of my favorite sets and I smile every time I put them on to be honest. As always, my links will be down below but we have an EXCEPTION to this rule in this post and it will be with my head. My head is by GENUS however, GENUS is once more under a DMCA lawsuit and unfortunately their products are currently unavailable. I will acknowledge it at the end though. 

Okay so without further ado, here we go! 

So these nails are fabulous. They are an appropriate length, they are this lovely almond shape and yet, yet, they toss around a sexual innuendo in such a way that it can easily be missed. I am by no means a Dom, but I could see a Dom wearing this as a small advertisement of the services she offers.

Now the only downside of this set is the HUD. Why? Well it could be a little bit confusing, but since I have figured it out.....well here is your cheat sheet LOL!

So as you can see, the HUD is a bit well, confusing to say the least. Alright so let me explain it as best I can. We will start at the top and work our way down. I usually don't mess with the link buttons at the top but of course, they are there. As for the glow setting below, I have yet to mess with them for I find I like the nails just the way they are. Now we get to the juicy bits!!

You can see the pictures to the left of the multicolored circles under the glow settings. Those are the parts of the nail. The top funky looking picture is the nail itself. The ring is the metal rings between the straps and the bottom one is the straps on the nails. Now you can see at the bottom of the HUD, there is that absolutely wonderful color picker that makes your choices infinite. So yes, it can be slightly daunting but once mastered, the sky is the limit. 

So I will be keeping an eye on Forma Nails for any new releases. Remember, they run $299L a set and each set is made for a specific body. I have the Lara body, thus I use Maitreya. Again, they are SO worth every penny and there are SO many to choose from. I plan on getting more, just have to get some that catch my fancy and that I can wear with the outfits I have LOL! Being a model and a Blogger doesn't make you rich in SL but to me, I find it fufilling. So the head I am using is, or was, the GENUS free gift, Strong. However since they are under that whole DMCA suit, well I can not post the link sadly.

4th of July

Hello Everyone! Today is the 4th of July and I took the opportunity to do a Koffin Nail set. Koffin Nails is put out by Dark Desires. This set was on sale for about $35L and it comes in three colors so to speak. They are nail appliers for both fingers and toes so YAY!! Always a bonus in my book when there is a matching set.

The set is for Maitreya, Omega and Slink. Just be sure to choose the correct the applier of course. The colors are White, Silver, and Gold. It is a simple design but at the same time detailed.

I thoroughly enjoyed using this applier in the above outfit and the the one below it. It was literally the perfect accessory to both.! Dressy or totally casual, it blended and added that extra touch for both.

So this brings me to the end of the post. Yes I know, it's a short one but it is a holiday and my family is after me to come and watch the neighbors act stupid as they fire off bottle rockets and M4s. So, be safe and have an amazing Fourth! As always, links are found below!

So I did a thing for Pride Month

Yeah, yeah I know.....totally gave into the hype right? Well sort of yes and sort of no. You see, I am Pan sexual and thus I am rainbow everyday LOL! However, this seemed the perfect time to show off my Rainbowness and talk about a nail applier that I found on the MP for just a few L. Like between 1-10L. Yeah, it was an excellent find!!

So without further ado, here we go!

This is an applier, so think of it as nail polish, that works for either Maitreya or Omega. You just choose the correct one. Then you choose the one you want, click it and it automatically applies it to all the nails. That is the only downfall to these sorts of appliers, is it is all or nothing. No uniqueness or choice allowed.

 As you can see I chose the first one because well, rainbow LOL! I have no other reason than that to be honest. So here you can see a good up-close shot of what they look like on Lara nails of the "claw"variety.  

I love how this picture turned out, just made me mad that SL decided to derezz my heart patch at the last second and give me the monstrosity that you see in the photo. See how well the nails compliment everything else rainbow? Love it!

So yes, everything rainbow and these nails are just that perfect edition. Remember: Love yourself for who you are because Darlings, you all are FABULOUS!!

Venge! Nails

Hello There! Today I am going to be talking about, you guessed it, another set of nails! These ones are from Venge! and they are exclusive to the store. I find that I like this idea because some mesh nail sets are hard to find appliers for but if a store has an exclusive set, then there is a very strong chance that there will be options always available and easy to find. 

I shall be showcasing three different appliers for these nails in this post, along with the applier and as always, the links to what I am wearing in my photos will be listed down below. So without further ado, here we go!

The applier pictured below is for the nail system that must be purchased in store or online, yes there is a free demo available, to be able to of course to use appliers. You add the nails that go with your body, they come in Maitreya and Legacy.  Now the HUDs are all set up the same. Each nail can be set for a different nail on the hand from the thumb to the pinkie. This is the coolest feature of this system because it gives one just about unlimited combinations. Also and this is my absolute favorite part; you can mix appliers!! So like you could wear two or more sets at once! It is phenomenal!

Now we shall move onto the appliers themselves. I have 5 of the appliers and I will be showing off three of them. I will let you know which ones they are, tell you a bit about them, and at the bottom of the page, again will be the links.

The first set shall be the Lotus set. It is a mixture of Pink and gold.There are some with designs and some with just solid colors. I love this set simply because it is classy and it is pretty versatile too. Makes any outfit pop! The red tint is also fantastic and I love how in different lights, they seem to be a totally different nail set.

The other applier is the Pharaoh applier and this one was at another location set up by Venge! Once I saw it, I just knew I had to own it. It is black and midnight blue with some wonderful gold Ankhs and Scarab beetles and even Egyptian writing. This set is definitely for the one who likes unique and original. It goes well with any outfit too and adds that wonderful bit of spark.

The final applier (totally forgot about this one originally because it is a brand new one I found at SL17) is called Rain. Oh yes, the name says it all and the blue hues and subtle blue decorations are some of the best I have seen yet.   

So there ya have it! Venge! is totally worth checking out. The nails are not that expensive to begin with and if you join the group, you can even save a bit more L as well. Definitely can NOT wait to see what happens with them in the future!

Forma Nails Claws XXL

So for my first post, I am going to be discussing Forma Nails. This company has several sets of mesh nails and they are all pretty unique and well kinda out there. However I love them for that purpose. The set I am going to be showing off today is the Claws XXL for Maitreya. I will have all the links and such to the Marketplace stores whose products I use in my looks. If a Marketplace store is not available, I will list the Store Name so you can find them inworld!

Okay so now for the look! I found these nails simply because I saw someone else with them and I fell in love. So I asked! She readily gave me the Landmark and I of course scooted over there at my earliest convenience. What I found there were mesh works of art. All unique and all beautiful. Rhinestones and sculpted pieces came together to make realistic even though a bit extravagant and a little over the top nail sets! It was a nail lover's dream come true! So I have a few other sets I will break out from this store but I want to focus on the claws right now.

 As you can see in the above photo, these nails have Rhinestones on them in simple settings. Everything about them is able to be customized via an attachable HUD and it controls all the wonderful things about these nails from polish and colors of accessories to if you want both tips or just the main ones on. It even provides buttons to Marketplace and a Landmark to the main in world store. Oh and if you need to adjust on the go? It comes with a pose button. How wonderfully convenient!! 

These nails are the perfect eye catching fashion statement. The thing I like about this set the most is the fact that they look deadly. Like these things could easily poke an eye out or for that fashionable Demoness, Vampire Queen, or Werewolf Alpha that doesn't really want to put much work in obtaining what they desire, well these babies look like they could get any job done!

As for me? I just simply love them because they are a bit extreme, a bit over the top and definitely a conversation starter. It has also helped in keeping the creepy guys away from me in SL. They take one look at these claws and think twice before sending some sleazy, slimy comment my way. If in the event that they somehow miss the nails or just dive right into my DMs like the thirsty bois they are....well one simple visual description and the added bonus of these claws makes things a whole lot simpler and the story more believable.

In conclusion, I am just going to say this: Forma Nails is a small investment. At $299L a set, they do not come cheap. However, with the detail and the work that goes into them, I would never expect them to be anything but the price that they are worth. Believe me, they are worth every penny too! Introduction

Hello! Welcome to my Blog. In this first post, I am going to just give you a run down of what I am doing here and a little about myself. So my name is Sylver and I am a model for Chop Zuey Couture Jewelry and I am also an amateur photographer in Second Life. I chose to start blogging because I noticed that in the midst of all the blogs for events, jewelry, skin, hair, clothes etc....there was one thing lacking. Nails. Yes, nails. Those glorious mesh additions or even the appliers that are out there that make the perfect companion to every outfit. To help the modern avatar look their best and shine like no other. So since they are so overlooked, nails need to be done and I have quite a few ready to go.
